At Floral and Grain, we believe everything has a story. Whether it’s giving old books a new life, crafting textured handmade paper out of discarded fibres, designing a vintage-inspired wedding suite for the modern bride, or formatting a book for publication, we bring each tale thoughtfully to life.
Floral and Grain was born from a love of preserving stories and giving them new meaning through thoughtful design and craftsmanship. We are guided by a commitment to sustainability, traditional techniques, and meaningful designs.

OUR HANDMADE PAPER
Every sheet of paper is individually hand-pulled, using traditional papermaking techniques. This process naturally results in a soft, organic deckled edge and ensures no two pages are alike. Variations in texture, thickness, shape, and tone make each sheet unique. Since we use 100% recycled fibre, subtle flecks of colour and traces of its original material accompany our paper.
WEDDING STATIONARY
Using our handmade paper, each design is individually pressed using traditional letterpress methods. Every sheet is carefully inked and pressed by hand, allowing the impression to settle uniquely into the paper. Because of the many variables involved in this process, slight variations and inconsistencies will occur from piece to piece. These natural irregularities are not flaws, but the hallmark of imbuing each page with character, depth, and timeless, vintage inspired beauty perfectly suited for the modern day bride.
We can also digitally print your invite! This allows for more design freedom, images and colour variations. Given the texture of handmade paper, they will not be printed with the same crispness as smooth cardstock. Because of this, we recommend a darker font colour, especially on the coloured paper.
Paper is made in-house and by order. After the order is placed, processing time will be around 3-5 weeks as to allow time for plate making, mock-ups and production. If you would like to use your own recycled paper, this can also be arranged. Additional customization is available upon request. We may be able to use your own design as long as it meets the requirements for polymer plate making. Please provide the information you would like on your invite in the customization box or the google form provided upon purchase. We will then create a mock up for you to approve. You are responsible for all spelling and accuracy of information.
